Enjoy the perfect relaxing online watercolour painting masterclass!
This session really focuses on teaching the techniques of watercolour paintings in a really engaging way. You’ll be joined by a leading UK illustrator, as they demonstrate and share tips and tricks on how best to paint with watercolours.
You will run through different brush techniques and mark making, preparing you for your final piece. Your host will also explain the colour wheel and give different tips and suggestions on how to create different hues and tones with your watercolour kit.
Finally, the time has come to paint your final piece! Get your creative juices flowing and use all of the tips and tricks you have picked up throughout the experience to paint a beautiful masterpiece! This is a really relaxing and casual masterclass and you are encouraged to ask as many questions as you would like. You’ll become more confident in your work, whilst developing your own style. You’ll also feel the mindfulness effects of being creative – it’s amazing!
–> An intro from your host (and you if you would like!) and an overview of the session, with a quick check that everyone has all of their equipment ready to start
–> An introduction into watercolour painting, talking about the style of painting, techniques and tips and tricks
–> Explore different painting and brush techniques – this is a really casual and relaxing masterclass and you’re encouraged to ask as many questions as you would like
–> You will then explore the colour wheel, learning how to mix colours and how to use them in your own masterpieces
–> After your introduction and technique tips, you will now paint your final masterpiece!
–> When everyone has finished, compare your paintings with your group
–> Feel free to stay on the call when the experience has finished to explore each other’s final pieces
