An In-Person Virtual Reality (VR) Bomb Defusal Team Building Game

The Virtual Reality (VR) bomb defusal game is a team-building activity that simulates a high-pressure scenario where a bomb needs to be defused within a set period of time.

Participants will be split into teams and each team will be tasked with solving a series of puzzles to disarm the bomb. Within each team, you will have the ‘experts’, these players have the manual, giving them the knowledge needed to defuse the bomb. You’ll then have the ‘defuser’ who will not have these instructions, they are alone in the virtual world with the bomb. The ‘defusers’ rely on the team of ‘experts’ to think critically, act fast and communicate clearly to help them defuse the bomb before time runs out.

Players will take turns as ‘defusers’ and ‘experts’ meaning everyone will enjoy a VR experience during the session.

The game is designed to test communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. By using virtual reality technology, the game creates an immersive experience that enhances engagement and collaboration among team members. The activity can be used in various team-building settings, such as corporate training, leadership development or team bonding events.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

–> Experience set up, including a presentation and intro to the headsets.
–> The host will then provide an event brief and the VR headsets will be demonstrated.
–> After splitting into teams, experts will be provided with the manual needed to defuse the bomb.
–> Teams will then work to solve the puzzles and disarm the bomb, swapping roles as the game progresses.
–> At the end the leaderboard will be shown and the winners announced.

SPACE REQUIREMENTS

• Attendees are to be seated in groups of up to 10. E.g. separate tables, or each side of a boardroom table.
• The game does not require WIFI, although this is useful for the hosts to be able to provide hints throughout the experience.

SET-UP & BREAKDOWN TIME:

• Set up: 45-75 mins depending on event size
• Breakdown: 20-60 mins depending on event size

• A full refund can be made on cancellations more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event. You can change the date or time of your experience up to 14 days prior to a scheduled event based on availability.
