Celebrate the Lunar New Year with this exciting twist on the classic Jeopardy-style game show. In The Virtual Lunar New Year Jeoparty Game Show, your crew will battle it out to see who can win the most Hongbao while honouring the traditions, folklore, and global impact of this joyous season.

Jeoparty follows the familiar format you know and love. Contestants answer trivia questions organised by category, with harder questions earning higher points. But be careful — incorrect answers deduct points from your score, so strategy matters just as much as a little New Year luck. The content is designed to be culturally rich and engaging, featuring categories such as Huat Ah! (Get Rich), The Silk Road, and Fengshui Partay.

In this interactive virtual version, individual members of each team are sent into breakout rooms where they compete head-to-head against members of other teams. At the end of each round, the points earned in those individual matchups are added to the team’s overall total. This structure keeps everyone engaged while reinforcing teamwork and cultural awareness.

Rounds increase in difficulty as the game progresses, building excitement until the final scores are revealed. By the end, one team will be crowned the Lunar New Year Jeoparty Champions — Wan Shi Ru Yi! We also recognise the highest-scoring individual player as the MVP.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

–> The event begins with a high-energy introduction from your host. You are welcome to provide opening remarks if desired.
–> Participants are divided into teams of 3 to 6 players. Teams can be pre-assigned or randomised.
–> Individual team members are sent into breakout rooms where they compete head-to-head against players from other teams (e.g., answering clues like: “While red is the colour of luck, this colour is traditionally avoided during New Year celebrations because it is associated with mourning”).
–> After each round, everyone returns to the main room to review results and check the live scoreboard.
–> After two competitive rounds, final scores are calculated, the champion team is announced, and the highest-scoring individual player is crowned MVP.

• Payment is required upon confirmation of your booking. The full balance can be paid or a deposit if you are unsure on attendee numbers.
• A full refund can be made on cancellations more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event.
