Get creative in this interactive hand and lettering workshop!
Your hosts are leading UK illustrators, and they’ll show you a number of industry tips and tricks to create amazing hand drawn calligraphy! Learn how to produce “faux calligraphy” and creative hand lettering, using normal pens or sharpies and create a beautiful quote to pep up your workspace or home.
It’s a really fun and interactive creative workshop, where you’ll get to learn a new skill and explore that creative side of yours. It’s beginner friendly and very much an opportunity to just chill out and get those creative juices flowing.
Maybe treat yourself to a drink, sit back, relax and enjoy the workshop!
–> An intro from your host (and you too if you would like!), making sure everyone is comfortable and ready to start the workshop
–> Firstly, you will be shown how to ‘fake’ calligraphy lettering without using a brush/nib pen
–> Your host will show you a range of different types of hand-lettering and explain how you can recreate them yourselves
–> You will learn how to fit words into small spaces by getting creative
–> Learn different layouts and fonts along with some quote suggestions to try yourself
–> Create your very own personalised hand lettered quote
–> Show and compare your final pieces all together and see what your team have created
–> Feel free to stay on the call and socialise once the workshop has finished
