Something to excite whisky fanatics and newbies alike: an exclusive online whisky tasting masterclass. The experience is led by none other than the incredible Forbes whisky writer, tastings host and World Whisky Awards judge Felipe Schrieberg!
This specially curated selection of whiskies featuring 5×25 ml samples & an exclusive 1×10 ml sample, have been picked out by Felipe and will be sent to you by whisky box subscription The Dram Team.
Conducted via video call or in your office, Felipe will teach you techniques to train your nose and palate whilst having some fun along the way. You’ll join an online tasting room with your host and fellow participants at Q&A stages of the experiences.
Your box will feature 6 superb whiskies, including one high end premium whisky alongside tasting note cards for each whisky to set you up.
£2 for every person purchased for will be going to the Trussell Trust, a charity helping those in need during the pandemic to provide food for society’s most vulnerable citizens in self-isolation.
All you’ll need to enjoy at home is the following:
–> Your Dram Team whisky box (we deliver this!)
–> Glassware (for example, a tumbler)
–> Water, to both drink and add to your whisky
–> Optional: Straw, spoon, pipette, or any other method you like to carefully add water to your whisky
–> Optional but recommended: Some snacks/food to help soak up the whisky
–> An introduction from Felipe
–> You’ll start by tasting the featured whiskies
–> Q&A opportunities with Felipe will feature throughout the experience
–> Felipe will pass on ‘pretentious bluffing tips’ to teach you how to sound like an expert
–> Felipe will then cover the science of whisky and its production, as well as teach you how to nose and taste
–> Once your host is finished, you’re more than welcome to stay on to socialise and finish your drinks for as long as you like
