The Arctic Heist: A Virtual Team Escape Room Challenge

The Arctic Heist is a 60-minute virtual escape room experience designed for remote teams, corporate events, and online team building. When the priceless Platinum Penguin, a sculpture due to be auctioned for charity, is stolen by criminal mastermind Dr. Maxine Flurry, your team is called in to recover it before it vanishes forever.

Hosted live by Sammy Ocean, you will infiltrate Flurry’s remote Arctic base and work in teams of 2 to 8 people to solve puzzles, crack codes, and overcome challenges under pressure. Collaboration, communication, and quick thinking are essential as teams compete to earn prize money and climb the live leaderboard.

The experience features four interactive rounds, each set in a different part of Flurry’s icy fortress. Expect a mix of riddles, logic challenges, themed questions, and escape-room-style puzzles that test both brains and teamwork. At the end of the game, the highest-scoring team will be crowned the Arctic Heist Champions.

With its cinematic Arctic setting, competitive gameplay, and live-hosted format, this online escape room is ideal for team building events, company socials, and client entertainment. Designed for groups of all sizes, from small teams to 1,000 plus participants, it is accessible, inclusive, and suitable for all skill levels.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

–> Guests join via video conference (e.g. Zoom) and are welcomed by high-energy host Sammy Ocean
–> We will then split you into teams of 3–8 people. These teams can be chosen by you or randomly assigned (for groups of 50+ teams will be randomly assigned)
–> You’ll then work through 4 rounds of challenges, each featuring different puzzles
–> Each round follows the same structure: rules are explained to the full group, then teams head into breakout rooms to solve the challenge together
–> Round 1 (The Perimeter Fence): Outsmart polar bear guards with logic puzzles
–> Round 2 (The Blueprints): Decode self-destructing files and navigate the Arctic base
–> Round 3 (The Laser Field): Answer themed questions to cross a dangerous laser grid
–> Round 4 (The Getaway): Solve a final booby-trapped puzzle to escape by plane
–> Final scores are revealed, the penguin is recovered, and the winning crew is crowned the Arctic Heist Champions

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run this virtual escape room on Zoom as standard, but we can also run it on MS Teams, Google Meets & Webex. (Some restrictions may apply).
• Q: Can we run this experience on our own meeting link? A: We usually run this online team building escape room on our own event link and will send you the link for you to share with your guests after you book. But, if you prefer, we can also run this on your own company event link.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, our arctic online escape room event is hosted by a live host playing the role of Sammy Ocean. Depending on the size of your event, there will also be 1-5 Avva Event Technicians running the tech side of your event.
• Q: Do we need to prepare anything ahead of the event? A: No, your guests just turn up and enjoy this virtual team building escape room.
• Q: Is this experience suitable for global audiences? A: Yes, we design the content of our remote team building challenges to be suitable for global audiences.
• Q: Can we select the teams? A: For groups under 50, teams can either be random or selected by you. For groups over 50, this is done randomly.
• Q: How much of the experience is spent in breakout rooms? A: About 25% of the virtual escape room is spent in breakout rooms with your teams discussing and analysing the puzzles. The remaining 75% is spent altogether as an entire group.
• Q: Can this experience work for hybrid groups? A: Yes, our virtual escape room party is suitable for fully remote and hybrid groups.
• Q: Is the content suitable for corporate events and families? A: Yes, this online escape room has been developed for corporate events. The content is also family-friendly with no violent scenes, graphics, or adult language.
• Q: Can we arrange drinks & snacks for attendees? A: Yes, we can arrange for drinks & snacks to be delivered alongside your experience from +£27pp + VAT (inc UK delivery). Contact us for full details & options available.

• Payment is required upon confirmation of your booking. The full balance can be paid or a deposit if you are unsure of attendee numbers.
• Payment can be made either via card or transfer.
• A full refund can be made on cancellations more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event.
• You can change the date or time of your experience up to 14 days prior to a scheduled event based on availability.
