The Heist! The Ultimate Virtual Escape Room Team Challenge

Get ready for ‘The Heist’ the ultimate virtual escape room team challenge. Part escape room and part immersive challenge, you’ll work in teams of 3-8ppl to solve the puzzles and retrieve a priceless painting.

‘The Raging Storm’ painting has been stolen by the infamous art thief ‘Gustaf Grimmler.’ You’ll join the crew of your live host ‘Sammy Ocean,’ who has been employed by the museum to retrieve the painting. Working together you must gain entry into Gustaf’s compound, collect the painting and get away before its too late.

Challenges will include logic based puzzles, cracking codes, analysing clues & more. All of these challenges are designed to build communication and collaboration between players, whilst having lots of fun!

In this team based experience you’ll play for points, so at the end we know who the ultimate heist crew members are.

This is a fun, immersive & competitive experience, ideal for team building, team socials, company celebrations and more. The experience can be run for groups sized 4-1,000+ and has content suitable for national and international audiences.

‘The Heist’ storyline…

The priceless Raging Storm painting has been stolen by infamous art thief Gustaf Grimmler. We’ve been employed by the museum to gain access to his compound and collect the painting. Joining the Sammy Ocean crew, we’ve got to solve Gustaf’s devious puzzles and challenges before its too late… 

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

–> You’ll be welcomed by your high-energy host “Sammy Ocean”, who’ll introduce the experience and explain the rules.
–> We will then split you into teams of 3-8ppl. These teams can be chosen by you or can be randomly assigned. (For groups 50+ teams will be randomly assigned).
–> You’ll then work through 4 rounds of challenges. In each one different puzzles will need to be solved.
–> Each round will follow a similar format where the rules of the challenge are explained to the entire group. You will then be split into breakout rooms to solve the challenge as a team.
–> At the end, you’ll find out if the painting has been successfully retrieved before the winning team is announced.

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run this experience on Zoom as standard, but we can also run on MS Teams, Google Meets & Webex. (Some restrictions may apply).
• Q: Can we run this experience on our own meeting link? A: We usually run this on our own event link and will send you the link for you to share with your guests after you book. But, if you prefer we can also run this on your own company event link.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, this experience is hosted by a live host playing the role of Sammy Ocean. Depending on the size of your event there will also be 1-5 Avva Event Technicians running the tech side of your event.
• Q: Do we need to prepare anything ahead of the event? A: No, your guests just turn up and enjoy the experience.
• Q: Is this experience suitable for global audiences? A: Yes, we design the content of our game shows to be suitable for global audiences.
• Q: Can we select the teams? A: For groups under 50 teams can either be random or selected by you. For groups over 50 this is done randomly.
• Q: How much of the experience is spent in breakout rooms? A: About 25% of the event is spent in breakout rooms with your teams discussing and analysing the puzzles. The remaining 75% is spent all together as an entire group.
• Q: Can this experience work for hybrid groups? A: Yes, this experience is suitable for fully remote and hybrid groups.

• Full payment is required upon confirmation of your booking. Payment can be made either via card or transfer.
• A full refund can be made on cancellations more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event.
• You can change the date or time of your experience up to 14 days prior to a scheduled event based on availability.
