Enjoy a fun, online caricature workshop with the wonderful Sassy Steve – a portrait artist who has been merrily capturing guests with his speed sketching skills at corporate events for years.
Learn all about the basic proportions of the face within caricature illustrations. You’ll use this as a springboard for exaggeration, observation and some serious cartoon fun!
To begin with, you’ll sketch Steve and learn tricks of the trade. After that, once you’ve mastered the techniques, choose yourself or someone in your team to take centre stage for everyone to draw…
Throughout the session, Steve will also be secretly sketching some of you before everyone shows each other their whacky creations at the end!
The Caricature Workshop can be themed to include sketching iconic people/celebrities for a range of Inclusivity Celebrations, including Women’s History Month, Black History Month, LGBTQ+ Pride Month or any Inclusivity Event that your organisation is marking.
–> An introduction from your artist about how you’ll sketch and learn about the basics of caricatures
–> A step-by-step guide starting with sketching your host to master the techniques before choosing a team member to draw!
–> In addition, ask any arty questions you have and feel free to chat, drink and socialise as you go
–> Continue with your artwork following the artist before showing off to the rest of your team
–> Above all, Sassy Steve will also be drawing some of you secretly throughout the session!
