To join in, you’ll just need some standard printer paper (white or colored works perfectly). For an extra-special touch, you can also book a workshop that includes a kit with premium Japanese origami paper delivered straight to participants’ doors.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT

–> Guests join via video conference (e.g. Zoom) and are welcomed by an expert origami host.
–> Introduction to origami, the history of the craft, and its mindfulness benefits.
–> Step-by-step folding of smaller festive decorations such as trees, stockings, boxes, and Santa.
–> Main activity: participants create a multi-sheet origami festive wreath.
–> Guests share their creations with the group for a fun and interactive showcase.
–> Closing tips on origami practice, plus optional Q&A. 
–> Farewell with encouragement to display and enjoy your handmade festive ornaments.

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run the virtual festive origami workshop on Zoom as standard, but we can also run on MS Teams, Google Meets & Webex. (Some restrictions may apply).
• Q: Can we run this experience using our own meeting link? A: Yes, you absolutely can! Whilst we typically provide a secure link for the virtual holiday origami class, you are welcome to use your own company’s meeting link if that’s more convenient for your team. We’ll work with you to ensure everything runs smoothly, regardless of the platform.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, this virtual holiday origami class is hosted by a live expert host. There will also be an Avva Event Technician running the tech side of your event.
• Q: Is this experience suitable for global audiences? A: Of course! Our festive origami class online is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for teams from around the globe.

• Q: What materials do we need to provide ourselves? A: Attendees only require around 10 sheets of paper from around the house to take part.

• Payment is required upon confirmation of your booking. The full balance can be paid or a deposit if you are unsure of attendee numbers.
