Game round formats and examples of questions: 

1960s: Supermarket Swept

–> Focus: The Stonewall Riots (1969) and LGBTQ+ life in the 60s
–> Round 1: Guess the prices of everyday 1960s items (e.g., What did a McDonald’s Cheeseburger cost in 1969?)
–> Round 2: Rainbow scavenger hunt – find objects representing each color of the original 6-stripe Pride flag

1970s: The Feud

–> Focus: LGBTQ+ global legal progress in the 70s
–> Format: Players guess the top answers from modern-day survey respondents
–> Example Question: “Name a famous LGBTQ+ singer”

1980s: Jeoparty

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

–> You’ll be welcomed by your lively game show host, who’ll introduce the experience and walk you through how it works.
–> Your group will then be split into teams of 3–8 players, these can be chosen in advance or randomly assigned. (For groups over 50, teams will be auto-assigned.)
–> The game begins! You’ll time-travel through the 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s, taking part in different Pride-themed game show rounds inspired by iconic formats like Family Feud, Jeopardy, and more.
–> After each round, the scoreboard will be updated so you can see where your team stands.
–> At the end, you’ll return to the present day, where the winning team will be crowned in classic game show style.

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run this virtual pride game show on Zoom as standard, but we can also run on MS Teams, Google Meets & Webex. (Some restrictions may apply). 
• Q: Can we run this experience using our own meeting link? A: Yes, you absolutely can! Whilst we typically provide a secure link for the virtual game show, you are welcome to use your own company’s meeting link if that’s more convenient for your team. We’ll work with you to ensure everything runs smoothly, regardless of the platform.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, every LGBTQ+ trivia game online event is led by a professional host who will guide your team through the challenges, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and fun experience. Each event will also be assigned an event technician who is on hand to support the technical aspects, so your team can focus solely on the fun.
• Q: Is this experience suitable for global audiences? A: Of course! Our pride game show online is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for teams from around the globe.
• Q: Can we select the teams? A: Yes, for groups of fewer than 50, you have the option to select your own teams ahead of time or let us assign them randomly. For larger groups, we generally manage team assignments to keep things simple and ensure a balanced experience for all participants.
• Q: How much of the experience is spent in breakout rooms? A: About 30% of the event is spent in breakout rooms with your teams. The remaining 70% is spent all together as an entire group. If you choose to play the head-to-head version of the game, no breakout rooms are used.
• Q: Can this experience work for hybrid groups? A: Yes, this experience is suitable for fully remote and hybrid groups.
• Q: Can we include custom content in the game? A: Yes, we can adapt the game content to include custom questions about your company or any other topic you’d like. Additional surcharges apply for customization.
• Q: Can we change the length of the experience?  A: Yes, whilst the experience is 60 minutes as standard, it can be adapted to be 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 75 minutes as required.
