A Virtual Holiday Door Mat Painting Class

Add a personal touch to your holiday season with this hands-on Virtual Holiday Door Mat Painting Class. In this creative and engaging session, participants design and paint their own festive coir doormat using easy-to-follow stencilling techniques.

Each attendee will receive a complete DIY kit delivered ahead of time, including a 16”x24” coir door mat, paints, stencil brushes, freezer paper, design printouts, an exacto knife, and painter’s tape. With everything you need at your fingertips, you’ll be ready to dive into this fun seasonal project.

Guided by a live instructor, participants will:

• Set up their workspace and materials
• Trace their chosen design onto freezer paper
• Use the included tools to cut out and stencil their design
• Apply paint with brushes to create a bold, durable holiday doormat

Stencil options include festive favourites such as stars, snowflakes, and winter-inspired designs, but customization is also possible for teams that want something extra personalized.

This workshop is perfect for holiday team building, virtual office parties, or seasonal client entertainment. Not only is it easy and enjoyable for all skill levels, but every guest will also finish with a beautiful, functional doormat that spreads cheer all season long.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

–> Guests join via video conference (e.g. Zoom) and are welcomed by the live instructor.
–> Introduction to the project, unboxing of materials, and workspace setup guidance.
–> Participants trace their chosen design onto freezer paper and cut it out using the provided tools.
–> Instructor demonstrates stencilling techniques before attendees begin painting their mats.
–> Guests secure stencils and apply paint to create their festive doormats.
–> Group check-ins throughout to share progress, laughs, and creative designs.
–> A big reveal at the end where everyone shows off their finished holiday doormats.
–> Closing wrap-up and farewell, leaving participants with a festive, personalised keepsake.

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run the virtual door mat workshop on Zoom as standard, but we can also run on MS Teams, Google Meets & Webex. (Some restrictions may apply).
• Q: Can we run this experience using our own meeting link? A: Yes, you absolutely can! Whilst we typically provide a secure link for the virtual door mat making event, you are welcome to use your own company’s meeting link if that’s more convenient for your team. We’ll work with you to ensure everything runs smoothly, regardless of the platform.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, this door mat making experience is hosted by a live expert host. There will also be an Avva Event Technician running the tech side of your event.
• Q: What materials are included in the kits? A: Kits include all materials required to make your holiday themed doormat. (A full itemized list can be provided on request).
• Q: What materials do we need to provide? A: Attendees will need to provide a pen or pencil, cup of water and paper towels. Everything else is provided in the kits.  
• Q: Can you deliver internationally? A: Yes, international delivery is available for a surcharge. Some restrictions may apply. 
• Q: How do we send you attendee addresses? A: We will provide an Excel template for you to submit attendee addresses on.
• Q: When do you require attendee addresses submitting? A: Addresses are required 2-weeks before your event. (This may be longer for international events).
• Q: Can we arrange beverages & snacks for attendees? A: Yes, we can arrange for beverages & snacks to be delivered alongside your experience from +$59pp (inc US delivery). Contact us for full details & options available.

• Payment is required upon confirmation of your booking. The full balance can be paid or a deposit if you are unsure of attendee numbers.
• Payment can be made either via card or transfer.
• A full refund can be made on cancellations more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event.
• You can change the date or time of your experience up to 14 days prior to a scheduled event based on availability.
