Virtual Mandala Coaster Making Workshop

Discover the calming and creative world of mandala art in this hands-on virtual mandala coaster workshop. Guided by a friendly instructor, you’ll learn the basics of mandala dot painting and create a set of unique wooden coasters that double as eye-catching magnets.

Each attendee will receive a DIY kit delivered to their door, including wooden coasters, dotting tools, paints, brushes, and magnetic backs. The session begins with a lighthearted welcome and trivia before moving into practice, where guests try simple dotting techniques on paper. Once confident, you’ll move to your coasters, layering colours and patterns to bring your designs to life.

Along the way, your instructor will share tips for symmetry, layering, and clean dot placement, while your host encourages group sharing and sparks conversation. The workshop concludes with a show-and-tell of everyone’s finished pieces, a team photo, and expert advice on sealing and displaying your creations.

This is an uplifting and memorable online experience, ideal for teams looking to relax, connect, and celebrate together in a fun and mindful way.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

–> Participants open their DIY kits while the instructor explains the materials and setup.
–> Everyone practices basic dotting techniques on paper to build confidence.
–> Step-by-step guided painting of wooden coasters begins, focusing on layering, symmetry, and design.
–> Midway through, the host sparks conversation and guests share progress.
–> Participants add final touches, showcase their creations, and take a group photo.
–> The session closes with tips on drying, sealing, and displaying your coasters, plus thank-yous and farewells.

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run the virtual mandala coaster workshop on Zoom as standard, but we can also run on MS Teams, Google Meets & Webex. (Some restrictions may apply).
• Q: Can we run this experience using our own meeting link? A: Yes, you absolutely can! Whilst we typically provide a secure link for the virtual mandala coaster making event, you are welcome to use your own company’s meeting link if that’s more convenient for your team. We’ll work with you to ensure everything runs smoothly, regardless of the platform.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, this online mandala coaster experience is hosted by a live expert host. There will also be an Avva Event Technician running the tech side of your event.
• Q: What materials are included in the kits? A: Kits include all materials required to make your mandala coaster. (A full itemized list can be provided on request).
• Q: What materials do we need to provide? A: Attendees will need to provide a cup of water and paper towels. Everything else is provided in the kits.  
• Q: Can you deliver internationally? A: Yes, international delivery is available for a surcharge. Some restrictions may apply. 
• Q: How do we send you attendee addresses? A: We will provide an Excel template for you to submit attendee addresses on.
• Q: When do you require attendee addresses submitting? A: Addresses are required 2-weeks before your event. (This may be longer for international events).
• Q: Can we arrange beverages & snacks for attendees? A: Yes, we can arrange for beverages & snacks to be delivered alongside your experience from +$59pp (inc US delivery). Contact us for full details & options available.

• Payment is required upon confirmation of your booking. The full balance can be paid or a deposit if you are unsure of attendee numbers.
• Payment can be made either via card or transfer.
• A full refund can be made on cancellations more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event.
• You can change the date or time of your experience up to 14 days prior to a scheduled event based on availability.
• If you’d like to set us up as an official supplier, please send over any vendor supplier forms for review.
