Live And Let Spy! A Virtual Team Hacking Escape Room

Live And Let Spy is a virtual escape room based around espionage and hacking.

Teams play the role of new recruits who are fighting for a place in a mysterious organization known only as The Agency. Players will need to break codes, track down suspects and hack into secure computers to complete their mission. Some puzzles are genuine tasks set by GCHQ when recruiting real intelligence agents!

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

-> The event beings with the host explaining the plot and you’ll play an ice breaker game. Your group will then be divided into teams and sent to breakout rooms.
-> Once in their breakout rooms players are met by a host who shares a link to the game itself, the game can be opened either in the players browser or on their phone (by scanning a QR code).
-> Players use the game screen (whether in browser or phone) to play the game while using the video call to talk to their host and each other (if remote).
-> The game itself is a series of challenges that will see players decoding secret passwords, tracking down suspects across Europe and hacking into the enemy’s secure server to find out their plans. At the end there is a bonus round where teams who finish quickly have the chance to play for extra points by solving genuine riddles set during recruitment by the British Intelligence services.
-> During the game, hosts will appear to offer hints and run bonus games to test the players teamwork.
-> At the end of the time limit, players are returned to the main room where the final scores are revealed and the winners celebrated.

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run this experience on Zoom as standard, but we can also run on Webex. Google Meets & Teams are also possible with some restrictions.
• Q: How long is this game? A: 60mins as standard, but we can adapt this if required.
• Q: Can we run this experience on our own meeting link? A: We run this on our own event link as standard and will send you the link for you to share with your guests after you book. But, if you prefer we can also run this on your own company event link.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, this experience is hosted by live game hosts (actors), who will facilitate your event.
• Q: Do we need to prepare anything ahead of the event? A: No, your guests just turn up and enjoy the experience.
• Q: Is this experience suitable for global audiences? A: Yes!
• Q: Can we select the teams? A: For groups under 50 teams can either be random or selected by you. For groups over 50 this is done randomly.
• Q: Do we need to provide email addresses or download an app? A: No email addresses or downloads are required.
• Q: How many people are in a team? A: For this experience teams are usually 5-10 people.

• Payment is required upon confirmation of your booking. The full balance can be paid or a deposit if you are unsure on attendee numbers.
• Payment can be made either via card or transfer.
• A full refund can be made on cancellations more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event.
• You can change the date or time of your experience up to 14 days prior to a scheduled event based on availability.
