You can choose between two unique workshop formats:

Introduction to Origami Masterclass:

–> You’ll be taught a range of fun and accessible origami models including animals, decorations, boxes and much more. 
–> There are many exciting moments where a simple final fold suddenly brings the model to life, and also the opportunity for guests to share their creations with the rest of the group, allowing their own creativity and individuality to shine out!
–> You’ll make some of the following: Fox, Yacht, Heart, Japanese Box, Spinner Toy

Origami, Mindfulness and Wellness Workshop:

–> Learn how origami can be used as an alternative way to enjoy the stress relieving benefits of mindfulness without the need for  traditional sat meditations which can be challenging in this frantic world.
–> After a few simple warm up models which offers an opportunity to experiment with some of the ideas around mindfulness and wellness we will fold a more complex “Japanese Crane Bird” which is symbolic of peace and wellness in Japan and around the world
–> You’ll make some of the following: Heart, Swan, Fox, Japanese Crane

No special materials are needed, your origami host will show you how to simply use paper from around the house. Alternatively, there are kits of prepared origami paper in a range of colours available if you would prefer.

This activity is suitable for all ages and experience levels, making it an inclusive and enjoyable option for remote teams and global groups.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run the virtual origami workshop on Zoom as standard, but we can also run on MS Teams, Google Meets & Webex. (Some restrictions may apply).
• Q: Can we run this experience using our own meeting link? A: Yes, you absolutely can! Whilst we typically provide a secure link for the virtual origami class, you are welcome to use your own company’s meeting link if that’s more convenient for your team. We’ll work with you to ensure everything runs smoothly, regardless of the platform.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, this virtual origami class is hosted by a live expert host. There will also be an Avva Event Technician running the tech side of your event. 
• Q: Is this experience suitable for global audiences? A: Of course! Our origami class online is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for teams from around the globe.
• Q: Can this experience work for hybrid groups? A: Yes, this experience is suitable for fully remote and hybrid groups.
• Q: What materials do we need to provide ourselves? A: Attendees only require around 10 sheets of paper from around the house to take part.
