Penny Dreadful: A Virtual Magic Show & Escape Room

Penny Dreadful is a live online experience featuring a puzzle-filled escape room, magic, mystery, and lots of humour! Set in Victorian London, this is an interactive an immersive virtual experience.

Your colleagues will work together in the hunt for hints and clues as you solve various puzzles linked to actual objects in the host’s studio.

Along the way, you’ll enjoy sleight-of-hand magic, mind-reading and story-telling performed by the ‘police inspector’ guiding you along – played by your host Malcolm Russell.

This virtual experience is suitable for both national and international groups.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

-> Live host Malcolm will then provide an introduction to the show.
-> The mystery begins! You have 60 minutes to find clues and solve puzzles, leading you towards the solution.
-> Magic, mind-reading and snippets of information are peppered throughout the experience as part of the storyline.
-> With luck and skill, you should be able to solve the mystery in close to 60 minutes.
–> Feel free to stay on the call once the show has finished.

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run this experience on Zoom as standard, but we can also run on MS Teams, Google Meets & Webex. (Some restrictions may apply).
• Q: Can we run this experience on our own meeting link? A: We usually run this on our own event link and will send you the link for you to share with your guests after you book. But, if you prefer we can also run this on your own company event link.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, this experience is hosted by a live magician. There will also be an Avva Event Technician running the tech side of your event.
• Q: Do we need to prepare anything ahead of the event? A: No, your guests just turn up and enjoy the experience.
• Q: Is this experience suitable for global audiences? A: Yes, the game content is suitable for national and international audiences.
• Q: Can we arrange drinks  & snacks for attendees? A: Yes, we can arrange for drinks & snacks to be delivered alongside your experience from +£27pp + VAT (inc UK delivery). Contact us for full details & options available.

• Payment is required upon confirmation of your booking. The full balance can be paid or a deposit if you are unsure on attendee numbers.
• Payment can be made either via card or transfer.
• A full refund can be made on cancellations more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event.
• You can change the date or time of your experience up to 14 days prior to a scheduled event based on availability.
