Learn To Make Organic Scented Candles: A Virtual Workshop

Discover the art of candle making with this hands-on virtual candle making workshop. A creative and mindful online activity perfect for team building, corporate wellness, or remote social events.

Guided live, by an experienced chandler (candle maker), participants will learn how to create their own organic soy wax candle from scratch. This online candle making class covers every stage of the process: melting wax to the right temperature, blending clean, curated fragrances, and carefully pouring your candle into its container. You’ll also learn about the benefits of natural waxes and certified clean fragrances, as well as tips and tricks for perfecting your candles. 

Ahead of your virtual candle making class, each participant will receive a candle-making kit delivered straight to their door. This includes soy wax, wicks, fragrance oils, and containers. Everything you need to get creative from home! 

During the session, you’ll have the chance to:

–> Learn the fundamentals of candle-making, including timing and temperature control
–> Gain pro tips and troubleshooting advice from your expert host

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run the virtual candle making workshop on Zoom as standard, but we can also run on MS Teams, Google Meets & Webex. (Some restrictions may apply).
• Q: Can we run this experience using our own meeting link? A: Yes, you absolutely can! Whilst we typically provide a secure link for the virtual candle making event, you are welcome to use your own company’s meeting link if that’s more convenient for your team. We’ll work with you to ensure everything runs smoothly, regardless of the platform.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, this candle making experience is hosted by a live expert host. There will also be an Avva Event Technician running the tech side of your event.
• Q: What materials are included in the kits? A: Kits include all materials required to make your candles. (A full itemized list can be provided on request).
• Q: What materials do we need to provide? A: Attendees will need access to; a stovetop or microwave, a small pot, a spoon, water and kitchen towel.
• Q: Can you deliver internationally? A: Yes, international delivery is available for a surcharge. Some restrictions may apply.
• Q: How do we send you attendee addresses? A: We will provide an Excel template for you to submit attendee addresses on.
• Q: When do you require attendee addresses submitting? A: Addresses are required 2-weeks before your event. (This may be longer for international events).
• Q: Can we arrange beverages & snacks for attendees? A: Yes, we can arrange for beverages & snacks to be delivered alongside your experience from +$59pp (inc US delivery). Contact us for full details & options available.

• Payment is required upon confirmation of your booking. The full balance can be paid or a deposit if you are unsure of attendee numbers.
• Payment can be made either via card or transfer.
• A full refund can be made on cancellations more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event.
• You can change the date or time of your experience up to 14 days prior to a scheduled event based on availability.
