Frost & Sprinkle: A Virtual Holiday Cupcake Decorating Class

Get into the festive spirit with this creative and joyful Virtual Holiday Cupcake Decorating!

Hosted by a live professional host, you will walk through the process of decorating delicious holiday-themed cupcakes with specially themed techniques. Creating frosted trees and Christmas wreathes, snowmen and poinsettias, you will be introduced to the variety of piping tips and sprinkle decoration, and the ability to embrace the creativity of the season.

The atmosphere over the course of the session will be lively and relaxed, as your host will share tips, answer questions, and mediate light conversation.

This is an ideal social experience to have with remote teams, virtual holiday parties, or any celebration at which you want to foster some social bonding with frosting and fun. 

Enough ingredients are provided to decorate up to 12 cupcakes. You’ll usually decorate 5-7 in the class, giving you spares to design with your newfound skills in your own time. 

Ingredients kits can be delivered to attendees ahead of your event. Alternatively, you can book as a BYO class where attendees source their own ingredients. For the BYO format, an ingredients list will be sent to you.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

–> Your expert instructor will greet and brief the class on the cupcake decoration process, ensuring everyone has their cupcakes, their frosting, and decorating tools at hand.
–> You’ll start by learning how to prep your piping bags and use a range of tips, before trying out your first few designs (a tree, an ornament, holly leaves).
–> Your host will guide you through each design in a step-by-step format, offering visual demonstrations and encouraging guests to decorate at their own pace.
–> Midway through the session, you’ll create more advanced decorations like a poinsettia and melting snowman using piping techniques and sprinkles.
–> Once all 5 guided cupcakes are complete, guests will use what they’ve learned to freestyle and create their own “design your own” cupcake.
–> At the end, everyone will hold up their favourite cupcake for a festive group photo.
–> Your host will then wrap up the session, leaving guests to stay online and chat if they wish.

• Q: Can we run this experience on our own meeting link? A: We usually run this on our own event link and will send you the link for you to share with your guests after you book. But, if you prefer, we can also run this on your own company event link.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, this virtual holiday cupcake decorating is hosted by a live expert host. There will also be an Avva Event Technician running the tech side of your event.
• Q: What materials and ingredients are included in the kits? A: Kits include all ingredients required for your virtual holiday cupcake decorating class. (A full itemized list can be provided on request.) 
• Q: What materials and ingredients do we need to provide ourselves? A: Attendees will need access to a kitchen and basic kitchen equipment. If you arrange a BYO ingredients class, a full itemized ingredients list will be sent ahead of the event.
• Q: How do we send you attendee addresses? A: We will supply you an excel template to use to submit attendee addresses.
• Q: When do you require attendee addresses submitting? A: Addresses are required 2-weeks before your event. (This may be longer for international events).
