Welcome to the Virtual Traitorous Team Building Game Show, where suspicion, deception, and teamwork collide.

This immersive virtual team building game transports your group to Castle Ravenscroft, where hidden Deceivers (traitors) are secretly working against their own teams. Working in groups of 3–8 people, participants will compete across three interactive missions testing memory, logic, observation, and teamwork, while trying to identify the teammate secretly sabotaging their progress from within.

Designed as an interactive virtual game show inspired by the world’s most popular social deduction games, this experience blends teamwork, problem-solving, persuasion, and competitive gameplay. Teams will collaborate in breakout rooms, complete fast-paced challenges, and take part in two dramatic Round Table discussions where they’ll analyze suspicious behavior before making a final accusation.

Hosted live by Lord or Lady Ravenscroft, the experience is theatrical, witty, and highly engaging. Throughout the game, hidden Deceivers secretly receive the correct answers and attempt to manipulate their teammates into making the wrong decisions, all while avoiding detection. Meanwhile, Truthseekers must work together to complete the missions, earn points, and uncover the Deceiver before the final reveal.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

–> Guests join via video conference and are welcomed at a Scottish Highlands railway station by Lord or Lady Ravenscroft.
–> Players travel virtually to Castle Ravenscroft, where the rules, team format, and scoring system are explained.
–> Guests are divided into teams, with one player in each team privately assigned as a secret Deceiver.
–> Teams choose a name and spokesperson before accessing the live answer portal through a QR code or website link.
–> Players compete across three interactive missions testing memory, logic, observation, and deduction.
–> Teams enter breakout rooms to discuss each challenge and submit individual answers that contribute to their overall team score.
–> Two Round Table discussions give players the opportunity to interrogate teammates and discuss suspicious behavior.
–> During the final Round Table, each team formally accuses the player they believe is the Deceiver.
–> The Deceivers reveal their true identities before the final scores and winning team are announced.

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run this virtual Traitorous team building experience on Zoom as standard, but we can also run it on MS Teams, Google Meet, and Webex. Some restrictions may apply.
• Q: Can we run this experience on our own meeting link? A: Yes, absolutely. While we typically provide a secure event link, you’re welcome to use your company’s own meeting link if that’s more convenient for your team.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, the experience is hosted live by an actor playing Lord or Lady Ravenscroft. An Avva Event Technician also manages the technical aspects of the game, with a second technician included for groups larger than 50 people.
• Q: What group sizes can take part? A: This experience is designed for groups of 4–100 people.
• Q: Do we need to prepare anything ahead of the event? A: No preparation is required. Your guests simply join the meeting and take part.
• Q: Is this experience suitable for global audiences? A: Yes, the format is designed to be accessible and engaging for both national and international teams.
• Q: Can we select the teams? A: For groups under 50, teams can be chosen by you or assigned randomly. For larger groups, teams are typically assigned randomly.
• Q: How are the Deceivers selected? A: One Deceiver is privately and randomly assigned within each team at the beginning of the experience. Their identity remains secret until the final reveal.
• Q: How much of the experience takes place in breakout rooms? A: Around 30% of the experience takes place in breakout rooms where teams work together. The remaining time is spent together as one group.
• Q: Can this experience work for hybrid teams? A: Yes, this virtual game is suitable for both fully remote and hybrid teams.
• Q: Is the content suitable for corporate events? A: Yes, the experience is theatrical, light-hearted, and designed specifically for corporate audiences.
