An Exceptional Customizable Virtual Wine TastingAll Virtual Experiences Large Groups & Events
Online wine tastings have soared in popularity in recent years. With more and more businesses adopting hybrid work-from-home models, as well as global, distributed teams looking to engage and motivate their teams, virtual wine tastings have become a popular choice for leaders of remote teams.
Whether you are the leader of a remote team or you are looking to impress clients on the other side of the world, you know how hard it can be to build meaningful relationships with your clients and colleagues in today’s world of virtual meetings.
Leading a team remotely has its own challenges. Many interactions are scheduled and planned with little room left for the spontaneous conversations that being together can bring.
Virtual wine tastings offer something different.
Ahead of the sommelier-guided virtual wine tasting, we’ll send the wines to every participant’s address with details of how the wine should be stored to ensure it’s perfect for your masterclass.
Each of our online wine-tasting sessions lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, but we can also offer shorter and longer sessions if requested. We can cater for groups sized 4 – 1,000+.
Whether you’re hosting the event for internal teams or for potential clients, we can help tailor nearly every element of the experience to make sure it’s a resounding success for everyone involved. From short networking sessions in between the wines to quizzes and competitions, there’s something to suit every event goal.
You’ll learn about and try different wines from the comfort of your own home (office) while building meaningful relationships with those you work with and learning something new along the way.
VIRTUAL WINE TASTING FOR REMOTE TEAMS
More and more businesses around the world are organising guided virtual wine tasting sessions for their team every day.
These sessions are an unbeatable way to foster genuine connections between colleagues who live across the country, or across the rest of the world.
These sessions are great as part of a selection of experiences or on their own. Many businesses use virtual wine tastings to recognise high performers, build connections in new and distributed teams, and kick-start events such as product launches and holiday parties.
ONLINE WINE TASTING FOR NEW AND EXISTING CLIENTS
As businesses turn to hybrid working and interact with increasingly globalized clients, more and more introductions and pitches are also done remotely.
In this digital-first world, businesses are having to be smarter and more creative when it comes to entertaining clients.
Virtual wine-tasting sessions are a fantastic way to get to know your existing and prospective clients better.
Many businesses combine these online wine tasting sessions with webinars about their product or service to boost engagement and encourage both new and existing clients to join them.
HOW DO YOU HOST A VIRTUAL WINE TASTING?
To host your own virtual wine tasting, you’ll need to curate a selection of wines to be sent to attendees, along with any accompaniments such as cheese, snacks, and merchandise. You will need all attendees to sign in to the same meeting room, such as Zoom, Teams or Google Meet, where the host and the sommelier will begin the session.
Alternatively, let our expert team arrange everything for you! 🙂
WHAT FORMAT IS BEST FOR ONLINE WINE TASTINGS?
The format will really depend on what you want to get out of your event but we’ve found that the following works well.
During the online wine tasting experience, the sommelier will guide the guests through the provenance, styles and flavor notes of each wine, encouraging guests to determine the flavors and scents themselves.
Throughout, guests can interact in different ways. For example, in breakout rooms with guided challenges, blind tastings, quizzes or structured discussions focusing on business information.
After the session, guests are welcome to stay in the virtual room for as long as they like and to ask any questions they may have to the sommelier or the host.
Leave us your details and one of our event experts will be in touch to help you.
