Hosted by “Francis P Fogg,” (great-grandchild of Phineas Fogg himself) and supported by the attentive Tech Valet, players are welcomed into a whimsical world of globetrotting competition. After meeting in a virtual Paris airport lounge, teams are formed, captains are elected and adventurers prepare to race across six continents, each with a unique challenge awaiting.

Your journey includes the following rounds, all of which encourage collaboration, strategic thinking, and quick communication:

• The Great Food Hunt (Rome) – Match famous dishes to their country of origin.
• The Sphinx’s Secret (Cairo) – Crack the code of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.
• Lost in Translation (Tokyo) – Decode emoji puzzles representing Asian countries.
• Aussie or Imposter (Australia) – Identify real and fake Australian wildlife.
• Amazon to Andes (Brazil) – Rank South American countries by population size.
• North American Mash-Up (New York) – A fast and furious final logic challenge with a race to submit the correct answer.

Throughout the experience, guests will not only compete and collaborate but also discover fascinating facts about different cultures, cuisines, wildlife, and landmarks from around the world.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

–> Welcome and Introduction: Guests are greeted by Francis P Fogg and the Tech Valet in a Paris airport lounge; teams are formed and captains are selected.
–> Answer Portal Setup: Captains sign into the live answer portal via QR code or web link. (No downloads or emails are required).
–> Round 1 – The Great Food Hunt (Rome): Match iconic foods to their European countries of origin.
–> Round 2 – The Sphinx’s Secret (Cairo): Solve a series of ancient hieroglyphic riddles.
–> Round 3 – Lost in Translation (Tokyo): Decode emoji clues to guess famous Asian countries.
–> Scoreboard Check: Midway through the event, teams see where they stand.
–> Round 4 – Aussie or Imposter (Australia): Decide if the featured animals are truly native to Australia.
–> Round 5 – Amazon to Andes (Brazil): Rank South American countries by population size.
–> Final Round – North American Mash-Up (New York): A rapid-fire math and trivia challenge for bonus points.
–> Final Scoreboard and Winners Announced: Scores are revealed, winners are crowned, and the event wraps up.

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run this experience on Zoom as standard, but we can also run on MS Teams, Google Meets & Webex. (Some restrictions may apply).
• Q: Can we run this experience using our own meeting link? A: Yes, you absolutely can! Whilst we typically provide a secure link for the session, you are welcome to use your own company’s meeting link if that’s more convenient for your team. We’ll work with you to ensure everything runs smoothly, regardless of the platform.
• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, every virtual team building event is led by a professional host who will guide your team through the challenges, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and fun experience. Each event will also be assigned an event technician who is on hand to support the technical aspects, so your team can focus solely on the fun.
• Q: Is this experience suitable for global audiences? A: Of course! Our Virtual Round The World team building activity is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for teams from around the globe. 
• Q: Can we select the teams? A: Yes, for groups of fewer than 50, you have the option to select your own teams ahead of time or let us assign them randomly. For larger groups, we generally manage team assignments to keep things simple and ensure a balanced experience for all participants.
• Q: How much of the experience is spent in breakout rooms? A: About 30% of the event is spent in breakout rooms with your teams. The remaining 70% is spent all together as an entire group. If you choose to play the head-to-head version of the game no breakout rooms are used. 
• Q: Can this experience work for hybrid groups? A: Yes, this experience is suitable for fully remote and hybrid groups.

• Payment is required upon confirmation of your booking. The full balance can be paid or a deposit if you are unsure on attendee numbers.
• A full refund can be made on cancellations more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event.
• You can change the date or time of your experience up to 14 days prior to a scheduled event based on availability.
