During this interactive online chunky knit workshop, participants will learn how to create a stylish chunky knit pillow using soft chenille yarn and simple hand knitting techniques. No knitting needles are required — you’ll use your hands to create the stitches and build your pillow row by row.

Your expert host will guide the group step-by-step through the entire process, demonstrating the key techniques needed to complete the project. Along the way, guests will learn the simple stitches used in chunky knitting and gain confidence as they see their pillow take shape.

Each participant receives a craft kit ahead of the event containing everything needed to create their pillow. The kit includes enough yarn to make two chunky knit pillows, although the workshop focuses on completing one pillow during the session.

This virtual craft workshop is designed to be accessible, relaxing, and enjoyable for everyone — whether guests are experienced crafters or trying knitting for the very first time.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

–> Guests join via video conference and are welcomed by your expert craft host, with the option for an opening message from your team.
–> The session begins with an overview of the materials and a breakdown of the key steps involved in making the pillow.
–> Your host demonstrates each row and stitches step-by-step while participants follow along.
–> Guests continue building their pillow while the host answers questions and provides guidance.
–> Participants learn how to stuff and finish their chunky knit pillow.
–> The session concludes with care instructions and tips for maintaining your pillow.

• Q: What platform is this experience run on? A: We run the virtual chunky knit pillow workshop on Zoom as standard, but we can also run on MS Teams, Google Meet & Webex. (Some restrictions may apply).

• Q: Can we run this experience using our own meeting link? A: Yes, you absolutely can! Whilst we typically provide a secure link for the virtual chunky knit pillow workshop, you are welcome to use your own company’s meeting link if that’s more convenient for your team. We’ll work with you to ensure everything runs smoothly, regardless of the platform.

• Q: Is this event hosted? A: Yes, this chunky knit pillow workshop is hosted by a live expert host. There will also be an Avva Event Technician running the tech side of your event.

• Q: What materials are included in the kits? A: Kits include all materials required to make your chunky knit pillow. (A full itemized list can be provided on request).

• Q: What materials do we need to provide? A: Attendees will need access to a clean workspace and a flat surface to work on while knitting their pillow.

• Q: Can you deliver internationally? A: Yes, international delivery is available for a surcharge. Some restrictions may apply.

• Q: How do we send you attendee addresses? A: We will provide an Excel template for you to submit attendee addresses on.

• Q: When do you require attendee addresses submitting? A: Addresses are required 2-weeks before your event. (This may be longer for international events).
• Q: Can we arrange beverages & snacks for attendees? A: Yes, we can arrange for beverages & snacks to be delivered alongside your experience from +$59pp (inc US delivery). Contact us for full details & options available.

• Payment is required upon confirmation of your booking. The full balance can be paid or a deposit if you are unsure on attendee numbers.
• Payment can be made either via card or transfer.
• A full refund can be made on cancellations more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event.
• You can change the date or time of your experience up to 14 days prior to a scheduled event based on availability.
