Full Experience Details

Get your creative juices flowing in this super fun and creative lino printing workshop!

Your host will show you step-by-step how to create your very own personal lino prints. It’s a casual workshop where you can sit back, relax and create your own personal prints. You’ll start off by learning about all of the tools in your event pack and how to use them, along with a number of different techniques to print.

Firstly, you will all draw out your design and will be shown how to transfer this onto your lino. Next, you’ll carve out your design, using the tips and techniques provided by your host. This is a really interactive workshop and you’re encouraged to ask questions along the way. Once your design is carved – time to get printing!

You will leave this masterclass with a number of your very own handmade cards, prints and posters. These are perfect for framing and even gifting to friends or family.

This workshop is perfect for getting the team together in a really relaxed way – maybe even treat yourselves to some drinks and sit back, relax and and get printing.

Perfect in the lead up to Christmas too – handmade Christmas cards? Serious brownie points!

Our Standard Lino Printing Workshop event format:

–> An intro from your hosts, welcoming you to the workshop (you can also do an intro too if you wish!)
–> Your host will introduce you to lino printing, the techniques used and the tools which you’ll be using, included in your event pack
–> You will then start to design your print by drawing this out onto paper
–> Your host will them demonstrate how to transfer your drawing design onto the lino
–> Now it’s time for carving – using the tips your host shared, it is now time to carve out your design
–> Using the inks and rollers in your pack, you will then begin to print your designs
–> Print as many as you would like – posters, cards & prints!
–> Compare your final prints with your team and see the creativity flowing
–> Feel free to stay on the call to socialise with your colleagues once the experience has finished

What will be delivered in the box:

–> Lino cutters
–> Baron – which doubles up as storage of the lino cutters
–> 4 x A5 paper
–> 2 x Cards & Envelopes to print on
–> 2 x Large tubes (100ml) of water based black and teal block printing ink – there is loads! Enough for 100 prints!
–> 2 x pieces of Softcut Lino
–> A tray for inking roller
–> An eco friendly pencil
–> Layout paper x 3 for sketching
–> Instructions, inspiration sheets, design ideas, recommended suppliers list all in eco-friendly packaging
–> Access to a pre-recorded online how-to class where your hosts guide you through how to make your first print, so you can learn to make at a time that suits you
