A Mindful Virtual Suminagashi Japanese Marbling Workshop

Inspired by the traditional marbling art, enjoy this Suminagashi-inspired virtual workshop.  

In this interactive and mindful class, you’ll learn how to make your own artistic pieces. You’ll create unique pieces through marbling techniques using Sumi Ink, which is transferred to wooden coasters or rice paper.

This class has been curated to give you a sense of relaxation and virtual exploration of Japanese culture. 

Your workshop will be hosted by an expert who’ll guide you step-by-step in this meditative art form.

OUR STANDARD EVENT FORMAT:

-> There will be relaxing music welcoming you upon arrival
-> Your host will then introduce your workshop
-> You’ll then get a demo before starting to make your own pieces
-> Your host will provide some cultural facts and tips as you make your pieces
-> Towards the end your host will also provide some care tips
-> The event will close with your host answering any final questions
