Welcome to this exciting Japanese whisky tasting masterclass!
The cocktail connoisseurs at Map Maison have one of Europe’s largest collections of Japanese whisky, so what better place to learn about it than from their expert bartenders.
In this 90 minute masterclass, you’ll get to enjoy a unique tasting trying 3 incredible Japanese whiskies whilst being guided by the experts on how to properly taste this marvellous spirit.
After a brief introduction from MAP Maison’s head bartender, guests will hear all about whisky production, its fascinating history and its path to becoming one of the most popular categories of whisky today.
You’ll get to enjoy your three tastings as you go including whiskies from Japan’s largest distilleries, Suntory, Nikka and Mars. These are all highly relevant to Japanese whiskies’ history as well as its current place in the world market.
The session will end with a special Japanese whisky based cocktail from MAP Lab, MAP Maison’s own premium bottled cocktail brand.
